    About Unity

Unity is a wonderfully cozy open-front cardigan that invites you to snuggle up in it during the colder seasons. It’s knit from the top down, starting with the shawl collar, which is knit at the same time as the body - no picking up of stitches here later! Raglan increases gently shape the yoke before you separate the sleeves and the body. Sleeves are picked up after finishing the body and knit to a 3/4 length. Pockets are set in while you knit the body, so that you only pick them up at the end to work the pocket linings. The shawl collar, cuffs, hem and pockets all feature an easy-to-memorize zig-zag stitch which pops beautifully against the stockinette fabric of the body.
