For international orders, we offer both shipping with and without tracking. Our shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order. You can see the shipping costs of your order directly when you check out - no surprises here!
All our international orders are shipped with either German Mail (Warenpost) or DHL.
Please note that we won't be able to help locate your order should you choose a shipping option without tracking.
All our domestic orders are shipped with DHL with tracking and insurance! The only exception are our subscriptions which are sent via Warenpost.
If your purchase is over €75, we'll even cover the shipping costs for you!
We ship orders twice a week, usually on Tuesday and Thursday, so your order should be on its way 3 to 5 business days after you placed it. At peak times, processing your order might take a little bit longer - we hope you understand that!
You'll receive an email notification once your order has been shipped. If you chose a shipping option with tracking, the email notification includes the tracking number for your order.
Domestic delivery usually takes up to 3 business days.
For international orders, the delivery time highly depends on where you're ordering from and can range from a couple of days to up to 6 weeks. Please be a bit patient if you're ordering from overseas as it might take several weeks for your order to arrive.
If you're worried about where your order is and you've selected a shipping option with tracking, here's what you can do:
Check the carrier website with the tracking number to see where your order currently is.
Contact your local postal service to help locate the package.

International customers might be subject to import fees, taxes and duties according to your country's import policies. As these policies vary depending on where you're located, please contact your local customs office in case you have any questions on this topic. In most countries, books and magazines are custom-exempt, meaning you won't have to pay any fees on them.
Please know that we are legally obligated to declare all international purchase as "merchandise" with the exact value paid by the customer. We won't be able to mark merchandise as "gifts" or declare a lower value than paid for.
We're also not responsible for a delivery hold-up due to customs or any international customs fees, taxes, import duties or any fees associated with collecting these charges.
Oh no! First things first: Please send us a message to firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know what happened and send us any photos you might have.
Should you have chosen a shipping option with tracking and insurance, please file a damage complaint with your local postal service and send the documentation over to us. Please include a photo of the damaged item as well as a scan of the damage complaint and a short note to let us know whether you'd rather be reimbursed for your order or receive a replacement.
Should you have chosen a shipping option without tracking and insurance,please note that in most cases, we unfortunately won't be able to reimburse you for a lost or damaged shipment or replace your damaged order.
We'll accept any returns in original condition within 14 days of you receiving your order. Please note that you need to send us an email (email@example.com) within this time frame in order to make use of our return policy.
Please include your order number and a note describing what you'd like us to do: Refund your purchase directly or in form of shop credit. Please note that we won't be able to take over the return shipping costs should you want to return an item in original condition.
We’re taking care that all our yarn photos are representing the actual color of the skein accurately. However, different screens and devices have different color calibrations, and so the colors displayed might vary depending on the device. This means that the actual color of the yarn might be slightly different in real life than what you can see on a screen.
All the yarns we offer are non-superwash, and some of them are dyed using natural dyes. If you want to wash your knitted items, we recommend doing so by hand with luke-warm water and, if you like, a bit of wool wash, so that the yarns doesn’t felt. Yarns dyed with natural dyes can fade over time - that’s a feature, not a bug!
