Frau Woellfchen's Jacobs Combed Wool Tops is a fantastic breed-specific spinning fiber that lets the gorgeous lighter and darker colored Jacobs fleeces shine.

Jacobs sheep have a really unique look – a spotted coat with light and dark spots, and between two to six horns. The undyed color of Frau Woellfchen's Jacobs Wool Tops is a minimally blended mix of these lighter and darker fibers (a so-called "humbug"), which means the hand-dyed colorways come out with a lot of depth and are super fun to spin up.

This blend is fabulous for new and experienced spinners alike, works well on wheels and spindles, and can also be used for felting. Each braid contains approx. 150g of fiber.

If you are curious, check out our blog posts about the difference between wool tops, batts, and rolags and what to make with hand-spun yarn. And if you are new to spinning, how about how to get started with spinning?
