handmade. – our Winter Box 2024 – is a collection of hand-crafted items, made by the hands, hearts and souls of some of my favorite makers. Every single product in this box is custom-designed for us, handmade by a small, woman-owned business, and oh so beautiful. The perfect gift for yourself to mark the change of the seasons, or for a loved one for one of the holidays.
This is a preorder. Preorders for the Winter Box will ship mid-October so that they arrive with you in time for the cold season. Shipping is included in the box price.
If you order any other products together with your Winter Box, they will all ship together when the preorder ships. Should you want to receive your other purchases before, please place a separate order for them.
A delightful hand-dyed braid of fiber or two skeins of yarn by Marina Skua.
The fiber will be Marina's Skua Blend, custom-created for her by Wingham Wool Works; the yarn is Marina's custom-spun Mendip, for which you can choose between Fingering or DK weight. Both yarn and fiber are non-superwash and plastic-free.
All three options include 100g of fiber / yarn. The picture of the fiber and yarn shows the undyed version – the fiber / yarn you'll receive will be dyed in a custom colorway based on the moodboard.
A thoughtfully designed hand-embroidered project bag by Milda from Pajauta Makes.
The bag fits a small to medium-sized project – a pair of socks, mittens, a hat – comfortably and is sewn out of a linen-cotton blend.
The project bag shown is the one included in the box.
A set of hand-made and -painted stitch markers by Riley from Soft Spoken Co.
These quilt-inspired markers are Riley's signature design, reimagined in our very own color palette! They come with gold-plated clasp rings so that they can be used as stitch markers or progress keepers.
The stitch marker set shown is the one included in the box.
A cozy, hand-thrown mug by Bianca of Bianca Green Art and Studio Sol.
Bianca creates perfect organic shapes that sit well in your hands and on your lips, and makes magic with her glazes.
The mug picture shows a selection of prototypes without glazing – you'll receive the very left one in the picture with a custom glaze.
As a knitter and spinner and very newbie potter, handmade products are so, so dear to my heart. The love and time and energy that flows into them is unparalleled. This year, we're celebrating four fantastic women-run small businesses who hand-make their products. All are fabulous makers and artists in their own field.
I am so glad that these four artists have taken my mood board and put their own spin on it for a collection of handmade products that are completely custom-made for us. I cannot believe how special and awesome this is!
