Light as a feather – that's Cloud by woollentwine! This custom-spun lace weight yarn is a blend of 72% traceable mohair and 28% cruelty-free silk.
It's naturally dyed by Jule from woollentwine in her studio in Hamburg, and works really well on its own or paired with one of her other fabulous yarns like Ovis Sock.
Jule has put together a fantastic pattern bundle on Ravelry if you are looking for ideas what to make with Cloud.

A sustainably produced, cruelty-free silk mohair yarn is incredibly hard to come by! Leave it to Jule from woollentwine to work tirelessly to have one spun - and then dye it with natural dyes in the most fabulous colorways.
The mohair in this yarn is all traceable, and the silk is cruelty-free, meaning the silk moths were allowed to hatch before the silk was harvested.
Add Jule's natural dyeing skills to this, and you have an incredibly special, luxurious yarn that is fabulous on its own or held with another yarn like Ovis.
Sari's Book Club Cardigan instantly jumped to the top of my to-knit list when I saw it! It's the cabled cardigan of our dreams – super fun to knit, and incredibly comfy to wear. Pair Cloud with a fingering, sport or DK weight yarn for maximum coziness!
Dorothy's super cute Adorable Ginger Scarf is the perfect project for one skein of Cloud - lightweight, whisper-thin, perfect for any wardrobe. And you might need one in poppy, and one in oat, and one in sage... (just saying)
The Soufflé Tee by Laura Penrose is a wonderful, slightly fancy t-shirt that you can dress up or dress down! I think it'll work perfectly with high-waisted jeans for brunch with friends or classic black pants for a night out. Hold Cloud double for this pattern!
Cloud works incredibly well held together with a fingering weight yarn (like Ovis) for a sport- to DK weight fabric that's as light as a feather and as warm as a hug.
This makes it perfect for small shawlettes like the Laulu shawl by Sari Nordlund or the Ginger Scarf by a.dora.ble knits, and for lightweight delicate sweaters!
Cloud also works wonderfully on its own - think a Cumulus Blouse, for example! Hold it single for a whisper-thin fabric or double for a still light, but slightly more substantial project.
