Marina Skua's Skua Blend is a custom blend of naturally colored British sheep breeds, designed for a wonderfully easy and delightful spinning experience.
The Skua blend combines Dorset Horn, Teeswater, Manx Loaghtan, Jacobs and Cheviot and is created by Wingham Wool Work in Gloucesterhire, UK.
It is then hand-dyed by Marina in her studio in Wiltshire, UK, before being fluffed and smoothed by hand for easy spinning. Read more about the creation of Marina Skua's custom blend in this blog post.
This blend is fabulous for new and experienced spinners alike, works well on wheels and spindles, and can also be used for felting

Marina was the first spinning fiber dyer I went to after I purchased my spinning wheel. She's been spinning for seemingly forever, and is incredibly knowledgeable about sheep breeds, fiber processing, and spinning.
She took all of this knowledge, and created her custom "Skua" blend in cooperation with Wingham Wool work, aiming for a spinning fiber that was delightful to work with and had a slightly rustic finish.
Marina's knowledge of spinning, her tireless quest for the best fibers to integrate into this blend (by hand-carding and sample spinning lots of different ones), and her in-depth experience of hand-dyeing all work together in this wonderful spinning fiber: It's a dream to spin (really, I can't get enough of it), both for beginners and more experienced spinners, and the colors are incredibly nuanced.
