Hands-down one of the best plant yarns on the market! Antigone is a sport-weight 100% linen yarn with a smooth and silky finish, perfect for summer tops, shirts and cardigans for layering. Linen likes to be washed (preferrably in the washing machine!) and worn and so your FOs will just get softer and softer over time.

• Non-superwash
• 100% organic linen (France)
• Sport weight: 260 meters per 100 grams / 284 yards per 3.53 ounces
• Recommended needle size: 2.5 - 3.5mm / US 1.5 - 4

• Antigone is created with a focus on keeping the production cycle short and transport emissions low.
• The flax is grown in Normandy, France, by the "Terre de Lin" cooperative. The cooperative is part of a project to return to ancient cultivation practices aimed at preserving the soil and producing high quality fibres without chemical inputs.
• It is then wet-spun into a single ply in Lithuania, before being twisted and dyed to its final shape and shades in France.
• Plant fiber origin: France (organic)
• Spinning mill: Lithuania
• Finishing & dyeing: France

Antigone’s beauty

Beautiful color shades and nice to the touch. It is my first time knitting with linen ( and I am using wooden needles) but I did not find it at all tiring or harsh. Highly recommend it!
