    It's Giveaway Time!

    Gift Card for Making Stories

Today we have a Making Stories gift card for €25 ready to be sent to one lucky winner!

To be in with a chance of winning, tell me the answer to this riddle in the comments below:

I can drift, lift, swirl, and fall; but only in the winter or not at all. I can get big, but I’m usually small. I can appear when the weather is either wild or tame. I have a million brothers and sisters, but we never look the same.

We'll keep the giveaway open until midnight tomorrow (December 3) CET. I will draw a name at random and let the winner know by replying to their comment. Good luck!!

Now, for today's Winter Celebration Box gift: You know how much I love a good wool soap, and on one of our team calls, Elsa had a genius idea for the Winter Celebration Box: We knew that a full wool soap from our wonderful friend Jule (Hey Mama Wolf) would push us over the budget we had set ourselves, and she suggested to make mini ones!

So we did, and in a scent we didn't carry before: Cedarwood, which is not only  deliciously woodsy and wintery, but also moth-repellent. To use the wool soap, pour some hand-warm water into a basin, submerge the solid soap bar and rub it in your hands until the water has turned milky and you have soap buds on top of the surface. Gently put in your knitting, and push it under the surface so that it can soak up all of that soapy goodness! Leave it in for at least 10 minutes - I like leaving mine for a good hour or so - and then take it out. No need to rinse! Just gently squeeze out the excess water without wringing, put the FO on a towel, roll it up and stomp around on it a little bit. Unwrap, and lay flat to dry. Enjoy!
