When you inherit something from someone, you always carry something from them that makes you feel connected to them. With the heirloom, a small part of the person lives on in or with you - this works both in material and ideal terms.
With the design for the Connected pullover, Julia reflected on this in two ways: the cable pattern in the front, where all the individual cable elements seem to be connected to each other; and creating a garment that can also be worn by different people thanks to its generous dimensions.
The result is an oversized jumper with drop shoulders to be worn with a lot of ease. The large cable panel running down the middle of the jumper down to the hem includes a central cross pattern with two ropes at each side visually connected to each other. The rope panel is mirrored near each side of the body. The roomy sleeves with the large cable panel on top leave enough space for different arm circumferences.
The sweater is worked seamlessly from top down.
