When I first tried woollentwine's summer blend "Linnen", I completely fell in love! The drape of this 75% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% linen blend is unlike any other wool-plant blend I'd ever tried. Woolly, yet cool in handling and wear - the perfect yarn for transitional pieces!
The undyed heathered grey takes Jule's natural dyes beautifully. She's created a wonderfully muted color palette that plays with shades of pink, red, purple and green.
Sari Nordlund's Rivendell Pullover is a wort of art. Designed for Linnen DK, it features a deep V-neck framed by cables, a textured body, and an echo of the cables running down the sleeves. Plus, did you know there is a cardigan option available?
Rebecca Clow's Tolsta Tee must be one of the most comprehensive patterns out there: It features lots and lots of customization options and has been knit countless times by knitters all over the globe! No wonder - it's a true wardrobe staple.
This gorgeous vest is super versatile: It comes with three length options and can be worn over a long-sleeved t-shirt, a blouse or, as a top, on its own! The calming stitch pattern would work beautifully in any of the undyed or dyed shades of Linnen DK.
Linnen DK is a really wonderful yarn for any wardrobe staple. I knit my "Ruegen Top" from Issue 11 in it, planning to wear it as a slipover!
A summer t-shirt, a cardigan or a sweater would be my go-to options, but Linnen DK also works beautifully in any shawl design. I would steer away from very intricate stitch patterns as they would get lost in the heathered yarn, but any large scale cabled pattern works well!
