Growing Ivy - Scarf

About Growing Ivy

I designed this scarf imagining a scene of ivy on the wall. The transition from one pattern to the others might be like ivy growing towards the sky. When you reach the top of your scarf, the clear sky is waiting. It is worked in the round from end to end and mainly in two stranded colourwork. The floats are hidden from view on the inside.

Growing Ivy is a tubular scarf worked in the round from end to end. Starting with 1x1 rib, it then progresses to stockinette stitch and two stranded colorwork. You only work on the knit side in the round – no back and forth colorwork! The size of the scarf can be adjusted by adding/subtracting repeats of the main pattern charts.
