    About Cuddle

Blankets are perfect for your little one to snuggle up with and make fantastic gifts that can be kept and passed down for years to come.

For this pattern, Claire was inspired to create something that was both visually appealing and soothing to knit, which led her to play around with the direction of the knitting and the construction you see in the pattern.

For Cuddle, Claire wanted to minimize the number of stitches to cast on and bind off and came up with a genius construction that involves casting on only two stitches and is super fun to knit. To complement the flow of the construction Claire kept the stitch patterns simple yet visually compelling: Nestled between garter stitch sections is a simple slip stitch pattern that gives the effect of colourwork without the complication of working more than one colour at a time.

With this pattern, you’ll get a color-in version of the blanket to help you decide which colors you’d like to place where!
