When I first tried woollentwine's summer blend "Linnen", I completely fell in love! The drape of this 75% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% linen blend is unlike any other wool-plant blend I'd ever tried. Woolly, yet cool in handling and wear - the perfect yarn for transitional pieces!
The undyed heathered grey takes Jule's natural dyes beautifully. She's created a wonderfully muted color palette that plays with shades of pink, red, purple and green.
The Sunshine Tee by Andrea Gaughan is exactly that - pure sunshine! Play with any color combination of Linnen 4ply for a lovely, striped tee. Super wearable and a sure wardrobe favorite, with lots of little details like the gorgeous folded hems.
The Oolong Tank is a delicate lace top, inspired by the tea plant from which the delicious oolong teas are created. It's knit from the bottom up, and the beautiful lace panel in the center is sure to be a showstopper!
The Outline Tee by Jessie Maed has been on my to-knit list for years! It's super wearable, especially in warm weather, and it would look fabulous in any of the heathered shades of the woollentwine Linnen 4ply.
As Linnen 4ply has a lot of drape, it works really well for tops and t-shirts as well as lightweight summer cardigans. It holds up its shape well, so geometric shapes and structured details look great in it!
If you are not a garment knitter, shawls are also a fabulous choice for Linnen 4ply. I would veer away from very intricate stitch patterns as they would get lost in the heather of the yarn, but large scale cables and soothing stockinette are a go!
