Welcome to January's Sock Box Pattern Inspiration Page! I'm so glad you're here!
January's Sock Box was inspired by ice crystals with their unique, geometric shapes, long winter walks with the sun setting over a snowy forest, coming home to warm up and watch the beautiful winter night through the window.
I hope that you enjoy unwrapping your gifts as much as I enjoyed putting them together, and I can't wait to see what you cast on. If you'd like to share, tag us on Instagram (@_makingstories)!

I first saw this gorgeous geometric lace pattern on Ruth’s (Raincloud & Sage) Instagram feed a while ago, and I couldn’t get it out of my head!
They hit just above the ankle, feature a gusset heel, and I bet are as fun to knit as they are to wear.

Verena’s Meltemi Socks from BREEZE are the perfect mix of soothing stockinette and lovely eyelet details.
The lines travelling up the center of the sock, branching off to wrap around the leg, are one of the best design features I’ve seen in a long time - wearable, timeless, sweet.

The Ebil Choices Socks feature a standout cable design if there ever was one! I adore it, and I can’t wait to see this being made in Raincloud & Sage’s beautiful Nord yarn.
The pattern gives you the choice of either purling the whole sock or knitting them inside out, with the cable pattern worked on the wrong side. Great if you don’t like purling!
