Theme: Growth

Issue 3 explores the topic of Growth with patterns that reflect this inspiration both in their stitch patterns and construction. All of them have been selected with an eye towards versatility in wearing as we're entering spring and autumn, both transitional seasons where layering is key. Our editorial content complements the theme by looking at Growth from different angles: business growth and sustainability, follower growth on Social Media and authenticity, and growing to appreciate your body.

Issue 3: Growth

Another wonderful issue from Making Stories! I read Alina Jordan’s essay “Growing Down” and had renewed appreciation for all that knitting has given me. In exchange, I find that I often look for ways to pass along the benefits of knitting, whether with finished items for family and friends, teaching others to knit, or with contributions to charity knitting. There are so many ways to share the benefits of knitting.
Once again, the patterns are wonderful and a good mix of shawls, sock and sweaters. I am looking forward to knitting Claire Walls lovely Northbound, which combines elegance and style. I hope I do it justice. It may be too late this year to knit and enjoy a linen Pale Shelter. There is always next yesr, and I will be ready for it!
