  • Heron Island - Sweater

There is something about lace around my shoulders that we find immensely elegant. Combined with a circular yoke and top down construction, Heron Island is simple to knit and simple to wear.

Pullover is constructed top down. Short rows are included to raise the back neck (but may also optionally be omitted). Lace motif is worked between increase rounds of the neck. Sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and worked separately. Because the sweater is top down the length is adjustable and it is easy to try the garment on as you go to choose your own length.
