    Snowdonia sock

Wonderful colour. Everyone I showed it to loved it. I think it knits up slightly thinner than usual sock yarn so next time I may go down a needle size. Otherwise authentic and satisfying.

    My favorite sock yarn

Snowdonia Sock is by far my favorite sock yarn. Held double it creates to most durable socks only with natural fibers. I'm happy that Making Stories has this yarn avaible because outside of the UK it's not so easy to get it.

love the finished project, but need patience when knitting

I have a pair of socks made with snowdonia, and cherish them. Definitely different for anyone who prefers superwash yarn for socks. I, myself, prefer more rustic yarn for my socks.
They are so warm to wear! When knitting, i prefer using wooden needles to offer a little grip. And the yarn does split a bit when knitting - so may not be for everyone. But again, really love the yarn!

The greatest sock yarn I know!

Above the 100% natural and organic yarn, I love the charm, it adds to your knitting. Romney and Hebridean make a vivid thread with character and elegance. I love the muted colour shades which perfectly underline this extraordinary yarn. I love this yarn not only for socks, but also for shawls, garments and accessoiries.

    Snowdonia Sock (yes!)

I love this yarn too! it looked like it was going to be itchy but it isn't. I made mittens and my hands are kind of sensitive. what is amazing is that my mittens are warmer than my polar gloves, as tested on a bike in winter! love the colors and the wooliness of it. Doesn't form an especially smooth, even fabric and it has those little black hairs but this all gives it a depth and a texture that I am super pleased with. I think you can see this in the attached but to compare, check out the Coill mittens in MS issue #8.
