Theophrastus is a delightful whisper of a T-shirt - light, airy, marled, ruffles. It looks great over jeans as well as skirts, and is, for us, the embodiment of spring in a garment.
A top-down raglan construction, this top begins with two different coloured strands of lace-weight yarn held together. Amongst the raglan increases is a hidden purl row which serves as the anchor for the double ruffle that will be added later: two ruffles, one in each of the colours of the marled body, knit with two versions of the Old Shale lace pattern, and reminiscent of double rose petals.

Krea Deluxe Deluxe Silk Mohair
This pattern is available in Making Stories Magazine Issue 9, In Bloom.
Krea Deluxe's Deluxe Silk Mohair is a wonderfully soft, fluffy and and light yarn produced with RMS-certified mohair, silk and baby alpaca. It's fantastic for holding it double with their Organic Wool 1, or on its own (perhaps double-stranded?) for a super light-weight shawl!
