Old Love is a round-necked pullover reminiscent of an old favourite with a contemporary vibe. The design was inspired by a walk down memory lane to the golden age of ski fashion from the mid to late 1970s and early 1980s - sweaters and jackets with lots of stripes and bright, bold colour blocking.
This pullover is loose-fitting, falls at the waistline and is worked in the round from the bottom up until the divide for the armholes. The front and back are then worked separately and joined together at the shoulders with a 3-Needle Bind-Off. The sleeves are picked up along the armhole edge and worked in the round. Colourwork is worked both flat and in the round.
There are a minimal number of rows where colour stranding across more than 5 sts is necessary, using only two colours per row. The colourwork is complemented with a bit of light texture in the body and sleeves, allowing the colour work to “pop”.

BC Garn's Semilla Melange is a wonderful organic allrounder yarn. It's 100% wool, and woollen-spun, which makes it lofty and warm at the same time.
Semilla Melange is GOTS certified, which ensures the highest organic standards when it comes to how the fiber is grown, washed, spun, and dyed. The fleeces come from mulesing-free farms in South America, the spinning and dyeing is done in Turkey. Like all our yarns, it's non-superwash and plastic-free.
Semilla Melange is also a wonderful companion to our favorite color-changing yarn Zauberwolle and the delightfully fluffy Bérénice!
