Wohoo, it's that time of the year! There's a slight chill in the evening air, the leaves are slowly turning, and I'm starting to crave new cast ons - textured sweaters, cabled scarves, a beanie here or there... Fall is almost upon us!

Despite the temperatures still being high, and the air being a little more humid than I would like, I know that in a few weeks I'm going to need some woolly transitional pieces to layer over my summer linens. Something that has struck me since we started talking about caring for your knits, is just how easy it is to care for wool and knitwear. I think growing up with fast fashion and knitwear that can easily be thrown in the washing machine at 40 degrees and hung on a washing line to dry, left me with the perception that caring for knitting is actually hard and time-consuming. A Price Update on Issue 8 & Our Annual Subscriptions
Hello lovelies! It's Hanna Lisa here, writing to you from a slightly messy desk on top of which our upcoming issue is perched - Issue 8! Which will be released on September 1, and it's absolutely glorious. I cannot wait for you to see it!

Choosing Yarn Colours Online
If there is one thing that can make my day, it's getting to visit a yarn store. There's something about the atmosphere, seeing yarns that I love and discovering new ones. Getting to squish those skeins, and see all the colours in real life, there is nothing better!
Unfortunately though, getting to visit yarn shops we love and seeing all that woolly goodness in real life isn't always possible. There may not be a stockist close by for the yarn you're looking at, you may not be able to physically get to a yarn shop very often, or in the case of the last few years with lockdowns, bricks and mortar shops have had to close and move their business online.
