Let me introduce Camille Romano, a French-born illustrator and graphic designer based in Helsinki, Finland. We are so lucky to have been working with Camille for a while now and not only do we get to feature her beautiful graphic design and illustrator skils in Issue 2, we also get to showcase her knitwear design skills with her beautiful hat, Kaksi!

Hello folks! Today I have a very special how-to for you from the super talented Nataliya Sinelshchikova of Fibre Creative. Nataliya is the designer behind the stunning shawl pattern, Rainfall, from Issue 1 and she has recorded a video to show us exactly how those beautiful raindrops are knit.

We need to talk about Sockmatician. Many of you will be aware of his recent actions, starting with an Instagram post with highly problematic views and language, and culminating in threatening a WoC at Yarningham this past weekend. These actions, and his subsequents reaction to the criticism he faced, are despicable.

Though we have often mentioned the natural sock yarns we use on social media and included articles in our work, we haven't talked about it much here on the blog, so I thought I would write a little today about just why we love them.
