Today we are so excited to be releasing our final digital collection of the year, Making Stories & Friends Winter 2018! This collection is extremely close to our hearts and we can’t think of a better way to round off what has been a busy, but amazing year!

Knitting season is in full swing and along with planning which patterns we’d like to work on, we’re all having all sorts of fun choosing our yarn! Whether you’re online shopping or visiting your LYS it’s one of the most exciting parts of the project. For today’s post, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at some more sustainable approaches to yarn shopping to make that new pattern feel a little more accessible!

If you have not heard of our Ambassador program before let me give you a few details! We partner with individuals all over the world who share our love and passion for natural, sustainably made yarns and gorgeous patterns. I thought it would be nice to introduce our Ambassadors taking part in the JEWELS release and let them share a little more about themselves and their upcoming events!

With the change in weather, we are suddenly craving hearty soups, hot breakfasts and steaming mugs of spiced goodness! Or is that just us? For today’s post, I asked the Making Stories team if they would like to share some of their favourite Autumn recipes, and they came back with some delicious suggestions!

As I’m writing this the pre-order for JEWELS have been open for a whole week, and we honestly couldn’t be more overjoyed with how it has gone. It’s been a mixture of happiness, pride, stress, and quite a lot of nerves because whenever you put something you love out into the world, it’s both unbelievable joyous and massively gut gurgling at the same time!

In this post, I wanted to share with you how we work with our designers. We are so happy to include the super talented Emily Greene in this group. Emily is a Brooklyn based designer and when not knitting she designs actual buildings! How awesome is that?!
