Everyone needs a go-to pattern for vanilla socks in their repertoire! These ones fit perfectly due to their toe-up construction (try them on as you go), measurements-centered pattern and Fleegle's heel.
These cosy slippers were inspired by the small windows of light peeking through the sky as the fall season unravels. They are comfortable house socks with a cabin in the woods feel, keeping feet warm for walks amongst tall trees. The texture motif is made of twisted stitches that undulate and show the faux eyelet cable here and there, like bursts of sun- light between branches. The slippers are knitted from the cuff down, with a German short-row heel and a rounded toe. Designed by Audrey Borrego.
The Wild Grass socks are inspired by the microscopic cross cuts of cells which are beautifully represented in the delicate, crescent-shaped lace motif. On the leg, the lace is complemented by tiny bobbles, evoking seed pods!
The Wild Grass socks are worked from the toe up. The motif is mirrored, with different charts for the left and right foot. The bobbles on the upper part of the leg are created with a crochet hook. The final leg length will vary slightly depending on the desired length of the foot. The socks are finished off with a cuff of twisted ribbing. Designed by Fiona Alice.
Light reflecting on the multitude of facets in a dark red, almost black gemstone, every once in a while resulting in a bright sparkling moment - the inspiration behind the Garnet socks can be seen in the twisting and flowing of the stitches and the eyelets that let the tiniest amount of skin shine. Paired with Triskelion Yarn’s luminous yarn that provides an incredible depth of colour, these socks deserve a special place in your sock drawer. Designed by us.
During lockdown in the UK in 2020 and without a garden, all I was able to do was look up. Look up towards the sky. Look up and watch as the clouds dance high above me. And then all that’s left was to come back down to earth. The colour and texture of these socks is designed to show the contrast between land and sky, between sky and cloud and the effortless dance between them shown within the cable.
These socks are knit cuff down, featuring a 2x2 rib with a colourwork cable, and a contrasting short row heel and toe. Designed by Emily Joy Rickard.
Even when I haven’t knit with it yet, the Corriedale Sock is really beautiful and soft.. I can’t wait to knit some lovely socks out of it!
