Cozy up this fall inAmelia by Hudson and West Co's co-founder Sloane Rosenthal. This laid back, preppy nod to classic cabled knitwear is the comfy layer that you’ll reach for over and over again throughout the year. Amelia’s squishy central cable and flanking rope twists are repeated on the front + back and is peppered with basketweave stitch on the sides and arms. This pullover is made from the bottom up in pieces, seamed, then the sleeves are picked up at the armholes and worked from the top down.

Size A (for body): US 8 [5.0 mm]: 32” [80 cm] or longer circular needle.
 Size B (for ribbing): US 6 [4.0 mm]: 32” [80 cm] or longer circular needle. 
Size C (for neckband): US 5 [3.75 mm]: 32” [80 cm] or longer circular needle for magic loop, or DPNs. 
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

GAUGE

19 sts and 24 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Basketweave St on Size A needle, after blocking.
Cable panel measures approximately 10.25" [26 cm] after blocking.

In addition to her line of self-published patterns, her knitwear designs have been featured in Interweave Knits, Knit.Wear, Wool Studio, and By Hand Serial. She is author of three knitwear pattern books, Independent Fabrication Volumes 1 and 2, and Wine Country Knits. A native of Washington, D.C., and briefly a devoted Californian, she and her family now live in Boulder, Colorado, where she runs H+W HQ West.
