A fantastic allrounder - sourced and produced entirely in Finland from Finnsheep, an old landsheep breed which is very well adapted to the colder climate of Northern Europe. We love it for socks as it's sturdy and has beautiful stitch definition, but you could really use it for anything!
• Completely sourced and produced in Finland, spun by a small spinning mill in Eastern Finland

The Orage socks are knitted cuff down, with a heel flap and French heel. The pattern features a cable motif that works as the ribbing and represents lightning - Elena Solier Jansà, the designer, was inspired by the electric storms that she could see when living in France!
They were first published in our Making Stories Magazine Issue 6 and are also available as an individual PDF in our webshop.
Elsa made a beautiful pair of Audrey Borrego's Yucay Socks in Mominoki Yarn Finnwool, in the colorways Dark Navy and Natural Grey. With their easy to memorize motif and their short floats, the Yucay Socks make a good introduction to stranded colourwork for those who are familiar with sock knitting. The mirrored pattern hides a diamond shape on the insides and features graphic lines at the top of the leg
